Erika began practicing yoga over 20 years ago as a way to help her body feel better and recover from competitive sports and activities. While she experienced the physical effects of a regular asana practice, she couldn’t help but also notice the beneficial and lasting effects on her mind and emotional wellbeing. She went on to grow in a yogic lifestyle by receiving both 200 and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Himalayan Institute Buffalo and is registered through Yoga Alliance.
She continued her education in Restorative Yoga with Cindi Lee, Positional Therapy with Lee Albert, Yoga Nidra with Rolf Sovik, Yoga Touch Method with Martia Bennett Rachman, Trauma Sensitive Prenatal Training with Love In Motion, Tuck Barre, HoopLove Coaching and more.
She holds a passion for working with people where they are and helping them find their inner relief from stress with mind, body and breath awareness. Welcoming movement back into your body with alignment, care and a new sense of purpose she feels is the best way to fit into your own skin.
